From start to finish

Having worked in construction for most of my adult life, I have become obsessed with materials and design. I started practising making homeware with anything I could find around the site; Egyptian limestone, porcelain slabs, offcuts of Iroko and cedar decking. But one material had always been my favourite, concrete.

The impact that concrete and brutalist design has on its surroundings is unmatched. It is striking and unique every
time it's poured. I learnt quickly that although it might look like it's a simple material to use and perfect, it is anything but.

My concrete obsession grew and I decided that in order to do this properly I would have to give it all my time and energy. So, in the spring of 2026 I quit my job and took the plunge to go all in. I love combining my passion for design with my drive for perfection and obsessive ability to work out every little minute detail.

My goal is to add a little bit of brutalism to your home by contrasting it with softer functionality, candle holders, plant pots, bookends etc. The juxtaposition of the hard, coldness of concrete with the soft uses not typically associated with it is what I love to create and I hope you will too.
